In response to a Matters Requiring Attention (MRA) issued by the Federal Reserve Board (FRB), we led a multidisciplinary, cross-border team advising a large multinational financial institution on how best to enhance its enterprise-level reporting. The objective was clear: uplift Board and senior management oversight by developing a comprehensive, data-driven KRI framework across high-risk areas, including AML/BSA, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, and Market Surveillance.

To support strategic oversight and continuous monitoring, we designed interactive dashboards that gave senior stakeholders and Board members real-time visibility into risk exposure, control effectiveness, and emerging trends. These dashboards were aligned to the client’s Consolidated Risk Assessment and Risk Appetite Framework, ensuring every metric was contextualized within the broader enterprise risk narrative.

Our process included stakeholder workshops to define meaningful, business-aligned metrics and validate their relevance across lines of defense. We integrated these KRIs into routine Board and committee reporting cycles, shifting the institution from manual and reactive reporting to a real-time, insight-driven model. The engagement culminated in the delivery of a closure pack to the FRB, evidencing the institution’s successful remediation of the MRA.
